Junction City becomes Yangon's latest addition

[Myanmar Times] The developer, Shwe Taung Group, started the construction in 2014. Phase one of Junction City is located at the junction of Bogyoke Aung San road and Shwedagon Pagoda road in the city’s central business district.
The total project area encompasses 260,000 square metres, and features two 23-storey towers for office spaces and luxury hospitality ventures.
Junction City Shopping Centre, a building which consists of five floors, offers over 240 fashion, beauty, technology, food and lifestyle outlets from internationally known brands such as Coach, Hugo Boss, Versace, DAKS, Etienne Aigner, Love Moschino, PANDORA and more.
Junction City Shopping Centre will also have the largest food court and Cineplex in Myanmar.
The JCGV Junction City Starium Theatre boasts Myanmar’s biggest screen – aptly named, ‘Super Big Screen”. The design is modelled after South Korea’s Starium cinema which is currently the home to the world’s biggest movie screen, according to the Guinness World Records.
The office towers have been developed in conjunction with Singapore›s Keppel Land Limited.

In 2017’s fourth quarter, Pan Pacific Hotel and Resorts will make its debut in Myanmar with Pan Pacific Yangon featuring 348 rooms in Junction City.
The construction of the first Sedona Suites in Myanmar, comprising of about 260 premium-serviced apartments and business suites in Junction City’s phase two, which is also developed together with Keppel Land, is expected to commence in 2018.
