SP Setia Celebrates CNY with Communities Across Malaysia

Shah Alam: Staying true to its philosophy of LiveLearnWorkPlay, S P Setia celebrated the Lunar New Year with its communities across Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Johor and Sabah in a vibrant and colourful style over the weekend.

Celebration in the northern region of Penang took place on 28 February, Saturday, at Setia Welcome Centre SPICE in Bayan Baru. Visitors flooded the venue well before 6pm, in anticipation of the traditional Lion Dance performance on stilts, Chinese drum performances and Chinese acrobatic performance. Visitors were also treated to Feng Shui talk by celebrity Feng Shui master, Dato’ Joey Yap who consulted attendees regarding 2015 Chinese astrology and Feng Shui matters.
On this auspicious day, Setia Sky Vista condominium was officially launched with extremely good take up on the day of launch. Located within Setia Vista in Relau, the Setia Sky Vista project is an upscale yet affordable project, priced from RM552, 000 per unit. The project comprise two towers of 27-storeys and 32-storeys respectively, linked by a sky bridge.
Celebration in the central region of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor took place at KL Eco City, Setia Alam, Setia Eco Park, Setia Eco Glades and Setia EcoHill respectively. KL Eco City hosted its customers’ appreciation day in conjunction with the festive celebration amidst scrumptious lunch, dragon dance performance, entertaining Chinese face mask changing performance, fortune telling booths and more.
On the same Saturday evening, members of the public were treated to a roaring lion dance performance, booth games, dance performances and multi-country carnival street at Setia City Park, Setia Alam. People from all walks of life including families, children, teenagers and friends enjoyed themselves at the games and activities booth which included mechanical bull, archery, sumo, dough figurine art, spring calligraphy and more. On top of that, special stage performance by Astro Star Quest Champions, Nicole, Geraldine and Uriah further lighten the celebratory mood for all visitors.
Setia EcoHill welcomed visitors to its Setia Welcome Centre in Semenyih on 1 March, Sunday. Highlight of the event was a comprehensive Feng Shui talk by Master Kenny Hoo which gained much response from residents of Setia EcoHill. Besides the Feng Shui talk, residents and visitors were also treated to Chinese Orchestra, magic show, fun fair games and fireworks to end the evening on a high note.
Over in Setia Alam, Setia Eco Park hosted the public in addition to its residents to an unforgettable Chinese New Year celebration with Chinese acrobatic performance, kids’ talents performances, Shaolin Kung-fu performance, Lion Dance on pole and the appearance of God of Fortune. Master Kenny Hoo was also present to share highlights of 2015 Feng Shui tips with those who were present. The evening then proceeded with a spectacular display of fireworks which lighted up the horizon of Setia Alam to the amazement of all who attended. At the end of the evening, one lucky purchaser walked away with the Grand Prize of a Home Makeover, sponsored by Dulux paint.
In the Southern region of Johor, Setia Eco Gardens welcomed visitors on Saturday morning with acrobatic lion dance performance amidst the launch of Eco Village 2 where Cardena (22’ x 70’) and Pandora I (20’ x 70’) eco homes were officially launched.. A special appreciation dinner was also organised for Southern region’s valued property purchasers, members of the media, business partners and suppliers where invited guests were treated to an entertaining night of Shanghai themed jazz band, energetic Chinese acrobatic performances, vibrant “Che Ling” or Chinese yo-yo performance over an 8-course Chinese dinner.
In the Eastern corridor of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Aeropod, S P Setia’s maiden project in the state, hosted the public to a Chinese New Year luncheon in conjunction with the launch of a new dual-key Small Office Versatile Office (SOVO) concept within the integrated development. Located next to the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA), Aeropod is set to take advantage of its proximity to the airport’s catchment population, making it a very highly anticipated sustainable development for work and travel.
